Sylvie, sceptique au début ...

“Sceptical — no, doubtful!” That was my state of mind when I arrived in Geneva for this “Voler sans peur” course last early September… my family’s gift for my 60th birthday!!! Impossible to turn down…

98% success?? What miracle could rid me of this fear? How could I stop thinking that planes are only open-air tombs?

Still, I decided to trust this lovely team who did not seem to be living their last moments at every take-off — worse: each of them seemed to enjoy it. So I opened my ears and eyes wide; I finally understood how these big birds fly and, almost despite myself, little by little over these three days, I felt my fear fly away — and since it had flown away, I could too, feeling calm and relaxed… Wow!! The problem now is that I want to travel…. so I bought myself that pink piggy bank (I couldn’t find a little Swiss plane piggy bank, pity…) with future flights in mind, and I’ll tell you a secret: “I can’t wait!!!”
